It was decided, early in 2006, to continue with P5 development, specifically to design/build gas lifts and plunger lifts.
Early units used VR, Variable Reluctance, differentials and hard wiring, initial cylinders were NPT.
The work had produced the Switcher software by mid-2007 and after a couple of attempts, quick-connect wiring and machine threaded cylinders with o-rings by 2008.
The design of these was retired in 2010 with the arrival of the CDi3.P7 all-digital controller.
They are still in use after modifications as CDi.P5.Sw units operating as plunger lifts and intermitters.
